I love minimal design in every thing: from web design to print, from architecture to poster design, etc. My another passion is typography and all its rules. “I Love Typo” is typography experiment and represent mix of my passions for minimal design and typography.

“I Love Typo” wallpaper is available in 10 different colors: White, Black, Blue, Gray, Green, Red, Aquamarine, Beige, Burlywood and Sandybrown.

Design process

The process of designing this wallpaper is very simple. I used Mentone font with following colors: #555555 for text and #790404 for heart. Then I add Inner Shadow with default settings. This is the intermediate result:

Now it’s time to customize the background color. The first thing to do is to fill the background with color, and for Gray wallpaper I used #eaeaea for background. Then I choose #aeaeae color and draw gradient from top left corner to center with Gradient Tool using Foreground To Transparent. Using the same technique and color I created another gradient but this time from bottom right corner to center.

At the end lower gradient layers opacity to 80% and this is the final result:
