This is a very simple, quick, Photoshop Tip how to create Reflection in 3 simple steps. I will be using iMac image in this tutorial, but you can use whatever you like.

Step 1:

Create New Document in Photoshop, and fill the background with i.e. #222222 color. Import iMac image in this document.

Step 2:

Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and make a selection.

Now, go to Select -> Modify -> Feather (Shift + F6) and type 30px or more. You should have a selection similar to the one shown in the image.

Press the backspace key a few times until you are satisfied. This will create a nice faded reflection.

Step 3:

Lower the Opacity of duplicated layer to around 50-60%.
