I designed this wallpaper, with a strong influence of James White’s work, and it’s inspired by expedition to Mount Everest in year 1952.
In the spring of 1952 a Swiss expedition, lead by Edouard Wyss-Dunant was granted permission to attempt a climb from Nepal. The expedition established a route through the Khumbu ice fall and ascended to the South Col at an elevation of 7,986 meters.
